Hickory Grail- USA winner over EU team

The Hickory Grail was contested in early September at The Belvedere Golf Club in Charlevoix Michigan.  16 members of the US team were pitted against 15 members of the European team which was comprised of 10 from Sweden and 5 from the UK.  We were rained out of an afternoon foursomes on the first day, completing the morning foursomes on Day 2, followed by an afternoon of fourballs.  Day 3 saw 14 singles matches.  The US team led the entire way, finishing with an 18 to 10 victory.  There were many wonderful matches, some coming down to the last putt on the eighteenth green.

The Belvedere Club hosted several memorable dinners (as is usual for events they host).  

The next Grail will be contested in Sweden at Helsingborg GC in September 2025.
